Anne Phung Nguyen
Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My wonderful fiance JP, and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry are also part of our clan. Most people know me through my Instagram account @annephung, where I write about my experiences- the highs the lows and all between. The year 1990 was the time I emigrated to America together with my brother and parents at the age of one-and-half. Without my parents' love of dedication and hard work it is likely that I would not be here sharing my journey. Being aware of the possibility for a better life, I worked hard to be their proudest and had tunnel vision for achievement. My mind could see the path I wanted to take for life. You go to college and graduate. Wed. Buy a house. Create children. The lifestyle I had imagined for myself wasn't what it turned out. The job I held in 2013 was something I dreaded. Money and status did not bring me joy. I thought I was wasting away my time to make a living. The year 2013 was when I realized that my passion was working out. I also loved socializing and being able to help others. On the path towards this new direction in life, I discovered the personal training I needed. My business started in 2014 and I'm celebrating 7 years of success this year, 2021. It's rare to meet an Asian female in the business. My goal is to be a change maker in the industry to provide quality coaching to empower people to live a more healthy and happier person by establishing the most sustainable life that meets their personal needs and goals. Also, I'm dedicated to supporting others so that they can reach the goals they set, pursue their passions and live the life of your dreams. As my professional career took off and I was advancing, my mom passed away. It was the most devastating of them all. After battling for eight years with Scleroderma, she is now resting at Heaven. I will never forget her and always remember her in my mind as well as my heart. The lessons we learn from life often go unnoticed however they are highly valuable. My loss has impacted my life in a variety of ways. It is my belief that her passing gave me an opportunity to begin an entirely new chapter. It was the Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she died. She had her chance to begin her new life as I was given another chance to live an enjoyable and satisfying life. In my 30's I'm alive and alert. I truly feel that I live my life now rather than merely living as the person I was back in my previous. In sharing the tale of my journey, it's to ensure that other people will be able to understand my thoughts and feelings. In order to feel that they're not on their own. And that there is real love. Also that therapy is necessary and is not unusual. Finally that the health of your body is the most valuable thing you have. There is only one chance to live. I wish you to enjoy it to the max.
